Yesterday was a fabulous day! The High School Ministry is called PointBreak and it was AMAZING!!! It is weird how you can feel so out of place on your first day but then when the second day rolls around you are so comfortable. I already knew names of kids and things about their lives. It is going to be a long growing process for me to get to know everyone, but i think i can do it. I am excited about the leadership team, everyone is so nice and they really want me to stick around. The Youth Pastors name is Dave and he really makes me feel welcome into the group.good stuff. Also, I was able to see my freshman girl when i went over to the high school, her name is Desere. She is such a little sweetie...i got to know her when i started working at the church in the Barista stand. She introduced me to some of her friends, it was great. After the team went over to the high school we all went to lunch on the church at this place called the Pizza Bakery. It is really exciting for me to hang out with a team of college students that knwo the area and can show me all these really great places to eat around Newport. I cant believe the church pays for our food too! Even after, my friends who work in the Children's ministry who give me a ride back to school, we went to get Frozen Yogurt at America's Cup and the church even paid for us then. Its pretty sweet
After helping out with 'PointBreak', work at the Barista stand, and everything i got back to school for the VUSC Pit Pride Rally in the gym. The rally was cute it was mostly for Vanguard's sports teams. Jason had to go out there with the soccer team, HILARIOUS!!! The soccer team is the notorious team at our school that is really 'close' and have all these traditions (almost like hazing)....like all the freshmen had to shave their heads in the beiginning of the year and now all the freshmen had to dress in miniskirts and wigs. Jason had to go out there in a miniskirt, a wig, and a short shirt and run around with all the other frosh guys.... Oh my gosh it was so funny...but also very sad ;P There was one point when Nicole asked me which one he was and i was like, "I dont think you even want to see it!!" hehe. After the rally I hung out around campus with Nicole. We walked around the dorms and visited all our friends. Good Girl Time!

Just like so many Americans my friend loves the clubs and club music lyrics so he went ahead and built an awesome website about club music lyrics. When he's in high spirit he goes to the site and start reciting all his favorite club music lyrics. Says it's good for the heart. Guess what? I gave it a shot and it works great!
