The end of our first chapter in Nepal is fast approaching and we'll soon be ready to write anew.

This is partly because Mike Ohara (Cofounder), 8 Vision Teamers and 5 Teachers here are all leaving this week and next week Erin Snyder (Product Dev.) and her boyfriend, Travis, are leaving next week. Tonight is our first going away gathering with probably a total of 25 people to attend!

Although it feels like some things will never end, like always having stomach issues, laundry issues and not being able to sleep or eat well, there is a great assurance that my time here will eventually be really really good.


I am doing much better in my devo time and have really started began to sit, listen and learn what God has for me. Though Jon and I do devos often, its been hard not to be distracted (this was especially true for when we were in DC and a million things were on our plate). However, today was really one of the first times when I've felt a sense of peace during my devo.

We're finally recognizing that life goes at a much slower pace here. It's a great thing to slow down, relax, have tea and not have to juggle a million things.
