In the last week i have not fallen asleep before 2 am!
Monday i had class from 6:30-9:30...OUCH! Later i went to run errands for cold medicine at the store and other stuff cause i am really sick:( later, i ended up stopping by myfriends' Joanna, room and instead of a quick 'hello' we and one of her roommates started talking for the next 2hrs!
Tuesday i decided to be a nice person and drive 2 hours with my friend dustin to pick up his car from his sister and then came back to find out that people were hanging out at the beach...we stayed there till 1:30.
Wednesday i went to denny's to order free refills on hot chocolate and cuppacinos with my friend dustin. We sat and did our Into to Business papers.
Thursday a group of like 14 of us decided to go to BJs to get these pizza/cookies called PIZUKIES! OMG besides that frozen yogurt pace called Americas cup i can forsee my frosh 15 from eating those Pizukies! hehe ANyway later i felt i had to run it off so four of us went on a 3 mile night run around the area. It was a good night
Friday was a hard day because i had two classes (1 at 8 and 1 at 9). SOme of my closest friends left for the weekend...well Nicole:( and then directly after class i had to work until 6pm. I would usually get off at 4 but this special Java CIty lady flew in to train us. Though it was a total repeat of everything i had already learned :( No complaints though, it was an easy way to earn some more money. So after work this is the coolest part- my roommates, joanna, and i went to this ARABIC FESTIVAL!!!!!!! It was so tight. No joke. Lke five minutes after we had arrived and we were walking around these two girls looking about our age approached ua and asked if we wanted to go on the main stage wearing these (i dunno what to call them) "authentic/traditional gowns". All four of us agreed without hesitation-we were so excited to experience this culture and stuff. We went onstage with all these other girls and introduced ourselves and stuff it was quite a memory. After the "dress fashion show" we walked around, made some friends, and just (without even trying) became more educated about the war in Palestine, Muslim religion, tradition, and culture. We met so many increadible people, especially young girls our age and we talked to them, questioning and answering things! It was so rad to be able to leave that festival with so much knowlege and so many different experiences and memories! Oh- and we totally learned how to do this circle dance thingy!!! YEssssssssssss! I think we are going to go to an African heritage festival in another couple months!
this weekend- i slept in till 11 and i need to study all day. All of my friends are studying and so we're going to take a small break be going to the beach later at like 4. Im alone without roommates this weekend so i will probably be hanging with the RAD girls from my floor a lot:)
