What a switch! Today has been one of the most amazing days!!! I woke up at 630 to go to the flagpole to pray. It is this national school gathering at all schools (actually international)...across the world. What happens is everyone meets at their schools' flagpole at 7am to pray for the world, their school, and their country. It was special to be able to know that across the whole world many other students were praying around their flagpoles too!
anyway that kicked my morning off to a great start:)
My English prof never showed up to my first class at 8am so i got a great relaxing period. My 2nd class was intro to business and its my fav so that was definitely good. then i was excused from work for an hour to attend my Freshman class Chapel (we have 3 chapels a week and i usually dont go wednesdays because of work) . The class chapel was great we had speeches for the ASB freshmanclass officers. fun stuff
After chapel i went in to work an hour late (like i said) and left an hour late too. So today was great because "the suits" came in from the Java City headquarters in Philidelphia to observe today. They were really nice people because they took me aside and complemented my work ethics. My previous coffee job in spokane really paid off i guess because they saw something in me at work :) I hope the good report wil carry on to my boss and perhaps lead me to a raise?! ;) Anyway so that totally made my day.
friends have been fun today and the food in the cafeteria is finally REALLY REALLY good. Ive been eating a lot more lately so that is good. They have live chefs that customizeand specialize some of our meals. Customize and specialize is kinda the same thing but you know what i mean.
so now im on my way out the door. I planned this thing called Rotic night tonight for the girls in Laguna Dorm. We used to have them in spokane with my friends there. What it is is a roMANtic night without the MAN. get it?!? anyway so i planned a night with lots of friends and t=other peeps to go to a movie called Just Like Heaven with Reese Witherspoon! Its going to be cute. Got to jet.
